6月18日，川普在推特上强硬回应：美国保留与中共经济完全脱钩这个选项。上个月，川普已经明确表示过美国「即将切断」中国经济的「一切联系」。川普的这一系列回应，更加表明美国对待共问题，比如港版国安和中共病毒上，都采取了果断的反击措施，包括最近制裁中共高级官员的提案。
